The CamDo Hero4 Battery Eliminator allows you to power your GoPro camera via the HERO port on the back. The Battery Eliminator connects your camera to an external power supply that is much larger than the camera¿s internal battery. These include USB-output battery packs, such as our Lithium Polymer batteries and USB chargers. With the Battery Eliminator, you no longer have to worry about running out of power during time lapse shooting or a long video session, as the Battery Eliminator increases the reliability of your camera. The GoPro Hero4 Battery Eliminator prevents two sources of heat; the charging circuit in the camera and the battery itself, which can get warm while charging. Overheating can cause unreliability in your camera such as it randomly shutting down, and the Battery Eliminator makes sure that the camera doesn¿t crash if a problem occurs while the internal battery charges. It is simple to use as all you need is to plug it into a USB port and then connect you camera. With the Battery Eliminator, you no longer have to charge your camera through the camera¿s mini-USB port, meaning that your USB port is ready for camera data retrieval, or for the GoPro Combo Cable. The GoPro Hero4 Battery Eliminator is compatible with the Hero4, Hero3+ Black and the Hero3+ Silver. The Battery Eliminator cannot be used simultaneously with other GoPro Hero Port accessories such as the Programmable Scheduler, Time Lapse Intervalometer or Motion Detectors.
