CAMPANULA SEEDS - MEDIUM MIX – Bells OF Holland

Absolutely beautiful large bell-shaped flowers with a broad colored calyx in a mix of rose, violet and white. They are superb cut flowers. Grows to 80 cm. tall. A must for any cottage garden. Large, vibrant flowers attract birds to the garden. Allow to re-seed for longevity in the garden.

Sown in early Autumn Campanula may flower in the next spring. Later and spring sowings will produce their flowers the following spring. Sow in seedling trays (see our Plastic Seedling Trays – open type). Make shallow drills about 4 cm apart. Sow seed along bottom of these and cover with about 3 mm of fine soil. Covering seed trays with clear plastic bags will help germination and will keep soil moist. Uncover once germination occurs.

Campanula seedlings are ready for transplanting when they are about 7 cm. high. Space 30 cm apart. Plant in sun or partial shade. Liquid manure after the plants are established will be beneficial.
