The Canon 28-135mm IS USM lens is a fabulous buy as this image stabilized lens is used by portrait & wedding photographers due to it's ideal range. It is ultra fast & silent due to it's ultrasonic motor. It is a big, solid, well-built lens with a metal mount and the ideal workhorse for many pros. It is a huge upgrade from the standard Canon kit lens and the price is a steal at R3900. You can easily sell it on for about a R1000 more should you upgrade in the future.
