The Canon BG-E2N Vertical Grip/Battery Holder adds a vertical shutter release, and is compatible with up to two BP-511, 511A, 512, or 514 lithium-ion battery packs, or six AA batteries with included BGM-E2 battery holder. The BG-E2N provides an additional shutter release, main dial, AE lock/FE lock and AF point selection controls for easier vertical shooting, as well as a 1/4-20 size tripod mount thread. The BG-E2N improves upon the BG-E2 grip by adding water-resistant and dirt-resistant seals for greater durability and to match the water resistant capability of the EOS 40D camera body. It is also compatible with the Canon EOS 50D, 20D and 30D SLR
