The BG-E8 is dedicated for use on the Canon EOS 550D and allows for easy vertical shooting. The grip accommodates two LP-E8 batteries for high volume shooting of approximately 1100 shots. With AA alkaline batteries, the number of possible shots is approx. 400 shots without flash use and approx. 300 shots with flash use. It features a Shutter-Release, Main Dial, AF Point Selection and AF/FE Lock.
