The Canon EOS 40D is a pro camera and if you're a pro you should be familiar with it.  Otherwise there's plenty info on the net.  It has a metal body, a self cleaning sensor and live-view.  It's built like a tank and is most loved by Pro's for it's lightening quick auto-focus and low image noise at high ISO.
