The latest Canon EOS C300 Mark III Digital Cinema Camera (EF Lens Mount) is equipped with an advanced Sensor, Canon's next-generation Super 35mm Dual Gain Output (DGO) Sensor.
The Enhanced Sensor is carefully designed for high dynamic ranges in excess of 16 stops and is also compatible with Canon's exclusive Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus technology.
It generates a high dynamic range and also ensures really low noise levels by reading out each Pixel with different grains.
Powerful DIGIC DV7 Image Processor
Powered into this powerhouse EOS C300 Mark III Digital Cinema Camera is Canon's cutting-edge DIGIC DV7 Image Processor that contributes to many of its advanced functions such as high frame recording, its Dual Gain Output (DGO), Cinema Raw Light Recording, Electronic Image Stabilisation, Dual Pixel Autofocus, and proxy recording.
The powerful DIGIC DV7 Image Processor also takes the extensive RAW information that's being captured from the imaging sensor and then processes it for output.

The Canon EOS C300 Mark III Cinema Camera is specifically designed to capture only the best of video, allowing you to capture ultra-high frame rates with its new chip design and DIGIC DV7 Image Processor.
The Cinema Camera enables videographers to capture 4K video with frame rates of up to 120 fps, while 2K CROP mode will provide you with even greater flexibility with impressive speeds of up to 180 fps.
Canon Log 2 and 3 Modes
Incorporated into the professional Canon EOS C300 Mark III Digital Cinema Camera are both Canon Log 2, and Canon Log 3 Gamma modes, which are great for taking into post-production letting you have full control over editing your video footage such as colour grading, and more.
The Canon Log workflows provide you with greater dynamic range, and more highlights and shadow retention.
Canon Log 2 will provide you with the largest dynamic range and image detail of the sensor; while Canon Log 3 will provide an alternative with only a slightly reduced dynamic range of up to 14 stops.
Large LM-V2 4.3 LCD Touch Screen
For improved viewing and operation, the C300 Mark III Cinema Camera from Canon is equipped with a Large LM-V2 4.3 LCD Touch Screen with approx. 2.76m-dots.
The screen will ensure enhanced viewing when wanting to change camera settings or for playback purposes.
Additionally, The LCD Monitor is capable of adjusting to different viewing positions.
4-Channel Audio Recording
Built-in to the Cinema Camera is 4 audio inputs, meaning 4-channel audio recording.
The Enhanced Camera allows audio input from the Camera's internal microphone, the mini mic port, and XLR ports which will enable a variety of audio devices to be connected and mixed directly on the Canon EOS C300 Mark III Digital Cinema Camera.
Support for Custom User LUTs
Add your own LUTs and apply them by easily uploading them to the Canon EOS C300 Mark III Digital Cinema Camera.
These LUTs can then be assigned to specific output terminals, the LCD and the viewfinder.
Clients can be viewing one LUT, while production works from another, giving different production roles the ability to customize the look of the image to their needs.
Canon Cinema RAW Light and XF-AVC Recording
Advanced functions just keep coming in on the Canon EOS C300 Mark III Digital Cinema Camera, and it can record Cinema RAW Light directly to onboard CFexpress cards all thanks to its powerful DIGIC DV7 Image Processor.

The Cinema RAW Light from Canon also offers users an extremely great combination of codec efficiency and the best quality.
Something new that's been added to the Camera, is the new 4:2:2 10-bit Long GOP-based codec with consideration for a balance of quality and data rates, which is ideal, and easier for users to reduce media costs and to work with cloud-based infrastructures.
Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus with support for Touch AF and Face Detection
Canon has packed a powerful Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus feature which is Sensor-based, phase detection autofocus technology leading to smooth, high-performance focus tracking, and achieving rapid autofocus that can be achieved with the support for Touch AF, and Face Detection.
With the unique Canon-developed technology that utilises two photodiodes per Pixel for autofocus and then combines them for recording high-quality video.
Additionally, this also enables the precise focus to be maintained, even when shooting moving subjects, which is vital for 4K UHD capture.
