Introduced in 2000, the one on sale here is in excellent condition, as can be seen in the pics. Actuations just over 5100. The overall body size is the same as that of the Canon 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D and 50D, and also falls into the semi-pro category.
Canon debuted it's first "all Canon" EOS Digital SLR (single-lens reflex) camera, the Canon D30, to the world at the February 2000 PMA trade show in San Francisco. Secured in a sealed glass showcase, it was referred to only as a "new product under development"
