Eye-catching perfection, serious performance

Print direct from a digital camera or memory card
Print photos without using a PC. Just print directly from any PictBridge or Canon Bubble Jet Direct compatible digital camera or camcorder (PictBridge is a new industry standard ensuring easy printing with a wide range of compliant products). Or simply slide a memory card into the built-in card reader slot and print via the control panel. For extra convenience you can also first print out a Photo Index Sheet showing all your photos for simple selection and printing.

Photo quality printing
Print true-to-life colours, detailed images and clear text on plain or photo paper. Canon's advanced MicroFine Droplet Technology uses a print head with micro-nozzles that eject tiny 2pl ink droplets with exact precision, giving a high 4800 x 1200 dpi resolution. Using special photo or glossy paper, you can produce borderless, ready-to-frame photos on A4, 4" x 6" and 5" x 7" sizes.

Fast, flexible faxing
Fax full colour photos or mono documents straight from the glass platen of the unit. A Super G3 fax modem sends one page in as little as 3 seconds* to save on phone costs. Canon's unique UHQ (Ultra High Quality) technology ensures faxing perfection when transmitting detailed documents. And a 200-page memory* stores all incoming faxes for printing out later if paper or ink runs out.

Superior scanning & copying
Profit from outstanding mono or colour copying. For perfect scanning, a CCD sensor produces a high 1200 x 2400 dpi resolution. Scan photos or pages of thick books and magazines thanks to the handy Z-lid. Or scan several photos all in one go using the time-saving Multi-Photo mode. The images are then separated and stored as individual files, for easy e-mailing to friends.

High speed performance
Print and copy at a fast 18 ppm for mono output or 12 ppm in colour. The unit is compatible with all popular Windows operating systems and a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface ensures easy connectivity and high productivity.
