Description : Photon remote control for Canon

a Generic 3rd party infrared wireless remote control unit that can trigger the camera shutter release from a distance. The compatible camera has a built-in infrared receiver for this remote trigger device.
 
Compatible with the Canon EOS 550D, 500D, 450D, 400D and 350D DSLR cameras.

 

 
How?
 
Select the drive mode of the SLR and move the setting from Single shooting to Self-timer/Remote control. You have time to move into your pose, pointing the remote at the camera, and to then remotely trigger the camera.
 
1. The top "S"is for straight shutter release
2. The "2S" is for a timer released shutter
 
 
If it happens that you prolong this exercise too long without taking a shot, the remote transmitter of the camera will de-activate. In this case just re-activate the camera by pressing menu again and you will have the infrared on standby again. When finished using the remote control to take pictures, just remember to set the camera back to single shooting mode again.
 
It has been proved to be safe and reliable, and works with all camera remote control modes (Quick-response, Delayed and Bulb).  Works from up to 8 meters (25 feet) away.
