DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
DESCRIPTION	This BOXED SHEFFIELD SILVER PLATE CANTEEN OF CUTLERY is in the plain, but very classy, Old English pattern and is contained in a wooden box with English silver oak finish. It is a 6 seating set of 26 pieces and consists of 6 each of knives, forks, spoons, teaspoons and two serving spoons. The spoons and forks are silver plated on nickel silver and the knives are stainless steel with bone handles.The canteen dates from the 1940s / 50s. You can see the canteen of cutlery in the image above and it is further illustrated through 6 images with descriptions which follow. Please ask a question if you require any further information.
CONDITION	The canteen of cutlery is in excellent condition and is complete as manufactured with all pieces original. By all appearances it has never been used.

NOTES
Beautiful, classy and complete. A 60 year old silver plated and bone handled canteen of cutlery in this complete and unworn condition is a rare find.

The bottom section of the box with the spoons. Six for eating, two serving spoons and six teaspoons.

The inside lid section of the box contains six EPNS forks and six bone handled knives.

The lovely box with English silver oak finish and brass clips and hinges.

The knives have bone handles and stainless steel blades.

The markings on the blades of the knives.

The markings which appear on every fork and spoon.
