Second Hand Cantilever Table

This cantilever table was specially manufactured 2 years and 4 months ago. It's made of Super wood, 15mm thick, and has high gloss sprayed enamel on the surface. It's 4m long, 1.5m wide, and 900mm high. The edge around the table is 100mm. It has a wooden base on the one end, with a concrete finish, and is bolted to the floor. The base supports the full length of the table, hence the name cantilever table.

It cost R30,000 to be made, including installation!

You could have it for a song! (The photo shows chairs and laptops as well, but they are excluded - it's only the table on auction!)

So what's the catch?

The table is bolted to the floor of a business in central Cape Town. They are now moving to larger offices, and no longer require the table. If you want it, you must fetch it at their premises, in central Cape Town, by Friday 30 May 2008. They had to remove and replace a window pane to install the table, and you may have to do the same! All costs incurred will be for your account.  If you just want the wood, you could always cut the table into pieces!

Should you win the bid, the following conditions apply:

1. YOU MUST REMOVE THE TABLE FROM THE BUSINESS IN CENTRAL CAPE TOWN.

2. YOU MUST PAY ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE REMOVAL OF THE TABLE (APART FROM WHAT YOU BID HERE). IN OTHER WORDS: ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY IT'S REMOVAL IS FOR YOU ACCOUNT! (You may have to remove and put back a window pane to get it out!)

3. THE TABLE MUST BE REMOVED BY FRIDAY 30 MAY 2008!
