Edited by Robert Ellis, with photographs specially taken by John Warner. The third title in the South African Yesterdays series. This title is based on the original 1890 edition published by Darter Bros. and Dalton, Cape Town.

Original quater brown leather binding with gilt titling on the spine and black buckram cloth covered boards. Red decorated end papers.
