About Artist: I was born in gauteng(transvaal) and was interested in arts and crafts from a very early age but never took it realy seriosly. It was only as recently as 4 years ago that I started studying up on art and art techniques with the view of maybe taking art up as a profession. In that 4 years since taking art more seriosly there were succeses and there were failures, as in all things in life. I have sold a couple of works by exibiting at flea markets,arts and craft markets, from home and in a certain restaurant in the town I live in. I'm a self taught artist and did most of my art studys through trial and error and by studying varios publications on loan from the public library in still-bay. I work mainly with dry pastels because its the medium that I like best I suppose. I try to focuss on being a portraitist(humans and animals) but now and then wander off the path to try other subjects like cape dutch houses, nudes etc.. etc..
