This 73 page catalogue was prepared for an exhibition of rare Cape furniture and 20th Century South African ceramics by the Linnware and Kalahari Studios. The publication explores aspects of the social history of Cape furniture. It also offers a brief historical overview and detailed photographs of pieces produced by the two ceramic studios between 1925 and 1985 thereby making a valuable contribution to the existing bibliography on the subject.
