 The Cape Law Journal Under the Superintendence of The Incorporated Law Society, Edited by W.H.S. Bell, Solicitor. Vol. I. Second edition, published 1887 for the Incorporated Law Society, by Josiah Slater, hardcover. The boards are worn in places, and the top two thirds of the spine on both sides are beginning to come away from the boards, but are still well attached. There is some chipping to the bottom of the spine. The inside front paste-down has the name of a previous owner written in pen, and the opposite page has the ink stamp of an attorney (that appears again on the page containing the Introductory to First Edition, and again on page 53), and a smaller stamp of another previous owner. All pages are very lightly age browned, but are otherwise clean and unmarked, and still well bound.
