Cape of Good Hope early incoming mail Ship Letter cancellers etc scarce 1829, the wax seals were removed by collectors to protect the cover from extra damage caused by the oils and chemicals in the wax seals. The cover also shows the early Penny Post Paid canceller, very scarce. Other cancellers noted Post Paid Ship London and Cape Town General Post Office. Of note is the To Pay and paid cancellers also present. A great item for further research. Not many items have survived from this period.
