Tape-in hair extensions are stylists favourite as they do not require any specific tools to install, making the application process incredibly fast. They are seamless and only needs maintenance every 8~10 weeks once installed.

1. Remy hair is hair that is shaved off a single donors head and bundled in such a manner that all the hair is kept in one direction. By doing so, the cuticles of the hair do not get roughed up and stay smooth.
2. Remy hair would last longer if maintained properly.
3. Remy hairis in short supply worldwide and is therefore a lot more expensive.
4. Non-Remyhair is human hair collected from many different donors, often from the floorsof salons. The hair cuticles are facing various directions when collected,which causes the hair to tangle and matte quite easily.
5. The majority of human hair sold today in South African salon is Non-Remy hair.
6. In order to solve the tangling problem on Non-Remy hair, many hair manufacturers use silicone to make the hair appear shiny, but as soon as you wash it, the silicone comes off. The hair will start to matte.
7. Capelli Valentino Non Remy hair is chemically treated to remove the cuticles so that it does not tangle as much.
Non-experts will not be able to tell the difference by looking and touching the hair. However after 4~6 weeks of washing, Non Remy hair will lose its silicone coating and start to matte. You will then need to flat iron the hair to keep it sleek and shiny.
1. Every batch of hair extensions will have a slight difference in colour shade, as hair from different donors react differently to the dye.
2. Every Computer/Cell phone screen will display the hair colour differently to the hairs true colour.
Maintenance Note:
1. Only sulphate free/keratin free shampoo should be used on hair extensions. Washing with shampoo containing sulphate or keratin will damage the hair extensions. After extensive trial and error, We recommend The KERASILK COLOR Range from GOLDWELL Germany to be used on all types of hair extensions. (Available in our store as well as most big salons in SA.)
2. Silver/purple shampoo must be used with caution as the hair extensions and your own hair might absorb the colorant differently.
Quantity Advice:
1 pack (20 tapes) = half head
2 packs (40 tapes) = full head
3 packs (60 tapes) = full head with celebrity volume
