Capsicum Cherry Bomb Seeds ~ Hot Chilli Seeds

Despite its name, the smooth, thick-fleshed fruit are shaped more like a top than a cherry. They turn from dark green to luscious red as they mature and are about 4 cm in diameter.

Though they can be pickled or added raw to salads, they come into their own when stuffed and cooked with either a meat, cheese or vegetable concoction. They are somewhat seedy, but the situation is easily remedied by simply taking out the central core to which the seeds are attached. With the seeds and some of the pith removed, they measure about 3,000 SHU.

The plants are surprisingly early and generously prolific. They are medium-sized and can be grown in containers when they are given adequate support.
