• Crop: Jalapeño M, a hot Capsicum annuum pepper.
• Growth form: Upright, branching fruiting plant; stake if heavily loaded or exposed to wind.
• Sow: Start indoors or under protection about 6 mm deep in fine, freely draining mix. Warm seed mix around 2732 °C supports general pepper germination; keep it evenly moist, never sodden.
• Plant out: Harden seedlings gradually, then plant in sun after frost danger passes and soil warms.
• Space: Roughly 4050 cm between plants, with wider room if humid conditions limit airflow.
