Car Detailing Clay Bar

A clay bar is a stick of a synthetic putty or clay-like substance used to remove fine residue from your cars paint that is rarely removed by a simple wash-and-polish job. It is also called detailing clay, and it designed to gently remove paint contaminants that settle on your cars paint finish which may not be readily visible to the naked eye.

A clay bar comes in stick-like or block form, in a sealed package designed to keep it moist. (In fact, just like a chamois cloth, a clay bar should never be allowed to dry out, so when you have finished using it, you should store it in a sealed sandwich bag, ensuring that it is slightly moist.)
