After the R1 car charger is connected to the power supply, the auto-sensing clip will automatically turn on and off, because nothing (such as a mobile phone) blocks the infrared sensor port.
After the phone is placed on the car charger (or something blocking the infrared sensor), the automatic clip will stop working.
It is recommended to disconnect the power when not in use to prevent the automatic clip from overworking.
