AN EXTREMELY RARE FINE PORCELAIN DEMITASSE DUO MANUFACTURED DURING THE 1930's BY CARLTON WARE, ENGLAND AND HAND DECORATED IN GORGEOUS ENAMEL SUMMER WHITE SNOWFLAKE FLOWERS (LEUCOJUM AESTIVUM) WITH GREEN LEAVES ALL IN RELIEF UPON A GLOSSY BLACK GLAZED BACKGROUND. THE SAUCER HAS A SCALLOPED RIM WITH GOLD TRIM WHILE THE DEMITASSE CUP HAS A GOLD HANDLE, BASE AND INNER SURFACE.

THE FINE PORCELAIN DEMITASSE DUOS MANUFACTURED BY CARLTON WARE, ENGLAND ARE RARE IN GENERAL, BUT WHENEVER ENCOUNTERED THEY ARE EITHER BRIGHT WHITE WITH GOLD OR THE STORK ROUGE ROYALE RANGE. THEY ARE EXTREMELY RARE IN THE BLACK DESIGN
