A striking two-handled dish in boat form by Carlton Ware in the popular "Rouge Royale" burgundy colour and with richly gilded features. It is decorated in the centre with a pagoda and trees, all beautifully jewelled. This pattern is sometimes called "Mikado".

The piece is in good condition for its age with no chips or cracks but with the usual grazing. There are some very minor scratches from usage in places. Gilding very good except for a bit of rubbing on the extreme edges of one of the handles. See photos for close-up detail.

Dimensions: about 22.8cm L (over the handles) x 12.4cm W x 3.7cm H (to top edge of handle).
