A lovely twin-handled bowl by Carlton Ware in the "Rouge Royale" burgundy colour decorated with gilded vineleaves and jewelled grapes. Then handles and edges are all richly gilded.

The piece is in good condition for its age with no chips or cracks. There is some crazing, chiefly on the white part of the foot. There is some slight rubbing on the gilding of the top rim and a few minor scratches from usage. See photos for close-ups and further detail.
