 Large authentic carnival glass compote made by Fenton Glass Co; Martin's Creek, Ohio, USA, early 20th century; pattern: Mikado; consisting of large mums alternating with scroll work rectangles and stippled ray sun centre on the inside of the bowl; on outside of bowl and base is cherry pattern with vines; lustre is excellent; colour: light marigold on base progressing into darker marigold in bowl; condition: excellent, no cracks, chips or scratches; very few bubbles or straw marks or manufacturing marks; no maker's mark as was the custom in early 1900's; size: height is 19 cm; diameter at widest part of mouth is 24 cm.  Will only ship postnet to postnet so as to avoid damage, add R99 for shipping.
