There is a very big demand for refurbished rugs globally as they are well priced compared to brand new Persian rugs which are just too expensive for many people. They are often used to decorate where a more faded, antique impression is required. As older rugs, they can show wear, or colour variation known as ‘abrash’, however, Persian rugs are known to be strong & durable, & if taken care of properly, can last for a very long time.
