Carrera Evolution Audi A4 DTM Red Bull colours

I really liked these cars for both their looks and their performance as well as their price and as a result owned 3 of these and another 3 in the Audi works team  colours. In my opinion all the cars in this Carrera series were indeed among the most detailed and well realized DTM cars at the time with the Mercedes C-class in the complex Direktor colours really shining through. I really enjoyed the performance and thought that although not lightening quick a very good balance was found between handling speed allowing you really drive them through the corners yet they did not have the magnet on wheels feeling and would rightfully punish you for overcooking a corner. These are the perfect cars for a lightweight night of close racing with a few good mates and a case of beer.....they are also built tough as any slot car that could survive being driven by my girlfriend at the time without losing some weight truly do stand out in my book.
