A VINTAGE COIL SHAPED CARROL BOYES (1954 2019) PEWTER HONEY STIRRER AND DIPPER. THIS HONEY DIPPER IS MARKED TWICE: FIRST THE STANDARD IMPRESSED C BOYES MARK ON THE STEM ADDED BY A RARELY SEEN DOUBLE C EAGLE ENGRAVED MARK ON THE FRONT OF THE HEAD.

One of the main reasons to use a honey dipper is to prevent a stick honey mess all over your counters and tables. If you enjoy honey in drinks like tea or coffee, then you can effectively use a dipper for this purpose. As long as a dipper is continuously rotated horizontally, the honey will never glob together and fall off. With a spoon or knife, on the other hand, there are no handy grooves to prevent the honey from accumulating and dripping off.

CARROL BOYES (1954-2019): Carrol Boyes was a South African artist, businesswoman, and former teacher that is best known as the founder of the Carrol Boyes Kitchen and eating utensil design company. Carrol's ethos was to produce high quality, unique, quirky, and collectable pieces of art that could be used every day. Pieces to enjoy and pass down from generation to generation. The brand still holds this vision true to this very day.
Both Boyes's step-daughters Kim Jackson-Meltzer and Martine Jackson-Clotz became creative directors of the business which the 65-year old Boyes who died in Aug 2019 has built from the ground.
