The Chantenay Karoo carrot is wonderful for any home gardener. The carrot is smaller than other regular carrots, they have a bright orange colour with a crispy texture and sweet flavour, great for snacking, cooking and juicing. The Chantenay Karoo Carrot is adapted to our climate and grow very well in sandy, nutrient poor soils.

The carrot greens is a deep green colour and is also great for juicing, or added to salads as something green and nutritious.
