Carry On Don't Lose Your Head is a British comedy set during the French Revolution. Loosely inspired by the adventures of The Scarlet Pimpernel, the film follows the daring aristocrat Sir Rodney Ffing, who secretly rescues innocent French nobles from the guillotine while outwitting the revolutionary authorities.
As executions mount and the hunt for the mysterious rescuer intensifies, Sir Rodney must rely on disguises, quick thinking, and a series of comic misunderstandings to stay one step ahead of his enemies. Featuring the trademark humour, slapstick, and innuendo that made the Carry On series famous, the film delivers a light-hearted parody of historical adventure stories.
Starring Sid James, Jim Dale, Kenneth Williams, Charles Hawtrey, Joan Sims, Peter Butterworth, and Bernard Bresslaw, this classic entry in the long-running Carry On collection remains a favourite among fans of British comedy.
