Offered on this auction is this lovely Cartonware Tobacco Jar/Humidor.
The Jar is Royal Blue with a crest bearing the arms of the University of Oxford. It has the black Carltonware factory stamp under its base (see photos)
It has a diameter of 13 cm at its widest part and the opening has a diameter of 10 cm.
The Jar is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. There are no chips, cracks or restoration on the body of the item (see photos).
The brass sealing mechanism is a little dull and there are some small chips around the opening rim from over tightening the mechanism.
