Six unmarked, fine condition beautifully carved with no breakage, ivory napkin rings. Each napkin ring is about 4,5cm in diameter and is about 1,9cm high. The rings have stickers inside that read: "GENUINE IVORY MADE IN HONG KONG" (referring to the preparation and carving). You could easily pay between $12 - $30 for one ivory napkin ring. These are beautiful ivory napkin rings, with finely carved scenes of what appears to be a fire breathing dragon, as well as portraying a "cloud" of smoke, which provides place to have a name engraved. There could perhaps be a story within the carving. The workmanship is magnificent and much more detailed and more beautiful than the photographs portray ... but important to have the right side up to appreciate the true beauty of the carving ... it did take me a while to see the dragon in the carving!
