Henry Matthews was a Birmingham based silversmith.... his first mark was registered in 1894. His workshop on Vittoria Street was within the famous Birmingham Jewellery Quarter. Matthews is widely admired for his small silver items which required expert attention to detail.
While I strive to provide a precise description, please keep in mind that this is a vintage item, and there may be minor imperfections due to age or production that I might have overlooked or not mentioned. I do my best to note all flaws, marks, and deficiencies.
