Book looks new and unread to me - Wrapper also in great condition. - I can trace one other world-wide selling for $ 136. >>> John Cassells is one of many pseudonyms used by author W Murdoch Duncan, known to his friends as Willie Duncan. - He also wrote extensively under the pseudonyms Neil Graham, Peter Malloch and Lovat Marshall. He also wrote extensively under his own name and wrote two books under another pseudonym, John Dallas, and one under a further pseudonym, Martin Locke. - As John Cassells he wrote 57 titles beginning with 'The Sons of Morning' in 1946 and finishing with 'The Picaroon Gets the Run-Around', published posthumously in 1976. - He was educated at the University of Glasgow, where he obtained a Master's degree in history, and he served in the British Army during World War II. - He lived with his wife Marion at Loup Cottage, near Tarbert, Argyll, Scotland, and apparently travelled, somewhat reluctantly, to London once or twice a year with a series of novels offered for publication. His publisher was John Long where a chap named Gerry Austin was responsible for his work going through the presses.
