Mamma Mia, found this old gem, its like a blast from the past. Apparently this was manufactured form 1976 to 1981, when things were still made to last forever.
Actually got this to play a tape (that I had to go buy from a pawn shop for 5 bucks) for testing purposes. Sound was good man I was so surprised.
All the buttons work, could just not test recording cause eish who still have blank tapes haha.
Had to use the counter rubber (drive belt) to run the tape motor as the original one was slightly worn out and kept on auto stopping, so this unit will need to be serviced I suppose, or at least fitted with new drive belts
Its like having an old school star trek kind of like gadget, with lots of silver metal, all sorts of buttons for tape type selection, noise removal and level changers.
Aaah and yes you can have the tape also - The Mission Original Soundtrack
Happy bidding
