Genuine CAT S22 Flip phone. Bought from Amazon.com on 22 May 2024 (past return date).

Phone was working well, but I charged it in my car which had an alternator problem and the output to the charger was too high. This resulted in the phone overheating and the battery not charging anymore. The phone was operating without a problem but I could not charge the battery. I tried charging the battery from a regulated power supply without result - see solder marks on battery terminals. I also tried powering the phone from the power supply just long enough to backup my data but it did not work - the phone still powered down due to flat battery.

The phone is sold as-is for you to repair or use as spares. Physical condition is still excellent.
