Cat5e Ethernet Network Cable 30m - RJ45 Patch Lead, 24AWG CCA (NETC30M)

A ready-made network run for connecting devices across a room or between floors. This 30m Cat5e patch cable gives you a complete Ethernet link with RJ45 connectors already fitted, so you can go straight from router or switch to your device without any crimping or cable termination work.

Built with 24AWG CCA (copper-clad aluminium) conductors, it's suited to standard home and office networking tasks connecting a PC, laptop, server or games console like the Xbox 360 to your broadband router or network switch. It's also commonly used to extend HDMI signals when paired with compatible HDMI-over-Cat5e extenders.

Key features

• Cat5e specification for reliable network performance
• 30 metre length for longer cable runs
• 24AWG CCA conductor construction
• RJ45 connectors pre-terminated on both ends
• Suitable for standard Ethernet networking and HDMI extenders

Ideal for

• Connecting PCs, laptops and servers to a router or switch
• Wiring games consoles such as the Xbox 360 for wired play
• Extending network access to another room or floor
• Use with HDMI-over-Ethernet extender kits

Good to know

CCA conductors are lighter and more affordable than solid copper but carry signal slightly less efficiently over very long distances, so for most home and office runs up to and around 30m performance for standard networking and streaming tasks remains solid. Keep cable runs away from power lines where possible to reduce interference.
