CAT7 has wider conductors normally up to 0.61mm and these connectors have an insert to be used to ensure the wider conductors fit into RJ45 networking adapter.

This product includes a CAT7 Connector (with Insert) used with 23-24 AWG 0.51mm/0.57mm CAT6e / CAT7 UTP or STP Networking cables. The connector can be used with solid or stranded CAT cabling.

Boots are NOT Included and can be chosen as below which will fit thicker cables.
