How to Play
The Seafarers expansion adds a maritime dimension to the classic Catan game. Players build ships to explore new islands, trade with distant civilizations, and claim victory points.
Key Components:
* New Tiles: Sea tiles and island tiles.
* New Tokens: Pirate ship, harbor tokens, and new resource tokens.
* New Pieces: Ships.
Basic Gameplay:
* Setup:
* Arrange land and sea tiles according to the chosen scenario.
* Place harbor tokens and new resource tokens.
* Distribute starting resources.
* Turn Structure:
* Roll the Dice: Determine which hexes produce resources.
* Collect Resources: Collect resources from your settlements and cities.
* Build: Build roads, settlements, cities, or ships.
* Trade: Trade with other players or use harbors for special trade deals.
* Play Development Cards: Use Knight, Road Building, or Monopoly cards.
* Move the Pirate Ship: The player who rolls a 7 can move the pirate ship to block a sea hex.
* Building Ships:
* To build a ship, you need 1 wool and 1 lumber.
* Ships must be placed adjacent to a settlement, road, or another ship.
* Exploring New Islands:
* Move your ships along sea hexes to discover new islands.
* Build settlements and cities on new islands to gain victory points and resources.
* Winning the Game:
* The first player to reach 10 victory points wins the game.

* Pirate Ship: Blocks sea hexes, hindering ship movement and resource production.
