902 Private W. M. Keys from Kaffrarian Rifles - The only record is Unknown death. What I have found is a William Maynard Keys. He was married to a Mildred Keys at the age of 27 on the 7th August 1897. I also found a death certificate for him 13 June 1900 died of Typhoid Fever. He is also mentioned in "The Kaffrarian Rifles" by Francis L Coleman on page 261 of causalities for Wepener see picture(this could be an error, since Wepener was April 1900 and he died in East London June 1900). Sorry this is the best research I could get on the poor fellow and personally somethings are plausible but more research is required since I could have made some mistakes.
