This Sword & Scabbard was apparently used in the Boer War, but I am not sure, it looks very similar to the "Huge Sword" advertised here, except the handle grip is different. It is in its original state and I am not aware of any restoration having been done. I have owned it for 36 years, and it was previously owned by my father. Scabbard looks like it was painted with a greenish colour paint on one side, but this may have been the cavalry issue.

Sword blade is 895mm, handle is 134mm giving a total length of 1029mm. There is a leather protector between the Handle and Scabbard.
