The price-clipped jacket is otherwise whole, with wear, chips and creases to edges, and some liquid staining visible along the rear spine, and is protected in cellophane. Bookplate of Stuart Macpherson, past president of the Mountain Club of South Africa pasted to inside front board, and a pen gift inscription to the page opposite. The page are otherwise clean and unmarked.
