Hardcover first published in Great Britain 1956 by Robert Hale Limited. The jacket is whole, with minor wear, marks, short tears and creases to edges and faces, and is protected in cellophane. Bookplate of Stuart MacPherson, past chairman of the Mountain Club of South Africa, pasted to inside front board. Tanning to end-papers, but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked.
