What is a DVR Camera and how do they work?
Unlike conventional, expensive CCTV, DVR's contain a Memory Card to which footage is stored. When you want to view the footage, simply remove the Memory Card and insert into your mobile phone, or use the USB Adapter provided to view on your Computer. You can then send footage to the police, or upload to Youtube if you catch something interesting!
Is this camera easy to install?
Yes, you can be operational within a few minutes. Simply attach this Camera to the required position via the Screws Provided and provide power via the 1 Meter long cable attached to the back of the Camera into a standard wall socket. If you require more than 1 meter you can either use an Extension Cable or purchase a USB Extension Lead at the required length:
Do I need to replace the memory cards when they are full?
No, This Cameras have a loop recording feature which means that the cam will record until the memory card is full and then start to record new videos over the oldest files. This means that standard video clips don't use up space on the memory card which allows the cam to continue recording for lengthy periods of time without the need to clear old files from the memory card.
