Celestron Telescope Mint Condition

8" Celestron Nexstar telescope, Schmidt-Cassegrain type, with carbon-fiber body and rugged steel mount. The mount is amazing, with a library of over 40,000 objects you simply go through a quick alignment procedure and then tell it what you want to see, and it automatically goes to that object and tracks it, keeping it in the center of view. The clarity of this instrument is amazing! I have clearly seen Saturn's rings, the polar ice cap of Mars, and beautiful nebulae.

The telescope comes with all the original equipment including spot finder, and in addition the accessory lens and filter kit AND the field power supply. The field power supply is great, it allows you to set up the telescope away from any light sources and power it for ideal viewing.

I no longer live in South Africa and I can't afford to ship everything to my new home so I am letting this go. It will be shipped from Cape Town by my brother who is currently holding my things for me. He has requested that I do not send "strangers" to his house so for that reason you will be required to pay shipping costs. I have a good relationship with Business Express couriers so you will be invoiced by them on delivery and can pay shipping costs then. Expect shipping to be a maximum of R200.
