DESCRIPTION

A beautiful small framed painting of A FLORAL STILL - LIFE WITH DIFFERENT COLOURED HYDRANGEAS, painted by listed SOUTH AFRICAN ARTIST CELIA WALSH - DIEHL (1915 - 1993). The painting (frame included) measures 205 x 250 mm and without the frame the size is 125 x 170 mm. It is framed in a good quality gilded wooden frame with white inner trim. The artwork is signed by the artist in the bottom left corner and is undated, but probably dates from the 1970s / 1980s. It is painted on fine canvass over board. If the item interests you, have a look at the images and ask a question if you are unsure of anything. Also research it on the internet where a lot of information on the artist's works and their prices can be found.

CONDITION

Both the artwork and frame are in good condition and it can be hung as is.

A lovely painting with beautiful fine artwork depicting a floral still life (the theme this artist was well known for).
