The Centurion i5 Infrared Safety Beams are reliable wired infrared beams designed to improve the safety and protection of automated gates, garage doors, access points, and perimeter areas. They help detect people, vehicles, or objects in the path of a moving gate or door, allowing the automation system to stop or respond when the infrared beam is interrupted.
Designed for simple installation and dependable operation, the i5 beams use a transmitter and receiver mounted opposite each other across an entrance. The transmitter sends an infrared beam to the receiver, and when the beam is broken, the receiver changes the state of its relay output. This makes the i5 suitable for use with most compatible gate and garage automation systems.
With a wide infrared beam and automatic alignment area of up to 9m² at 10m, the Centurion i5 is easy to align during installation. It offers a maximum operating range of up to 40 metres, making it suitable for wide driveways, gate entrances, garage doors, residential complexes, commercial premises, and light industrial access points.
