Cephalotus follicularis Seeds

ULTRA RARE Carnivorous Species

A rare opportunity to grow this unique and beautiful carnivorous plant from seed. The remarkable West Australian Pitcher Plant Cephalotus follicularis is found only in St George's Sound on the south-west coast of Australia. Easy and rewarding to keep, Cephalotus follicularis may be grown in a variety of conditions. Grown in full sunshine the pitchers will turn a deep shade of red as shown in the accompanying photographs. Grown in more shady conditions, pitchers will remain mostly green in colour but may grow larger than those on a plant in full sun. In its natural environment the plant experiences no more than the occasional light frost and so should not be allowed to freeze.
