Cephalotus follicularis Seeds A rare opportunity to grow this unique and beautiful carnivorous plant from seed, freshly harvested during spring 2008. The remarkable West Australian Pitcher Plant Cephalotus follicularis is found only in St George's Sound on the south-west coast of Australia. Easy and rewarding to keep, Cephalotus follicularis may be grown in a variety of conditions. Grown in full sunshine the pitchers will turn a deep shade of red as shown in the accompanying photographs. Grown in more shady conditions, pitchers will remain mostly green in colour but may grow larger than those on a plant in full sun. In its natural environment the plant experiences no more than the occasional light frost and so should not be allowed to freeze. The price is for 1 Seed |
